After seeing this challenge last year, I knew I wanted to take part in it since my experience drawing dogs was minimal, and they would always end up looking a bit derpy whenever I tried to draw them. After drawing them for a month straight, I can confirm they will always look derpy no matter what I do! I love all of the derpy dogs that I have made over this challenge, each for their own reasons. However, if I do attempt this challenge again next year, I will be more focused on puppy portraits, so I don’t have to overly stress about anatomy, since I cannot for the life of me nail their legs.
