Day 1 – Buds and Blooms
Now that spring is on the horizon, we can say goodbye to harsh, cold nights and start expecting the new buds of beautiful flowers to begin to bloom. However, for those pretty petals to appear, we need to also wait for the awakening of The Pollinators! These joyous beings are giant gourds that sprout from the ground once winter ends so they can sing and spread their pollen to help all sorts of flowers and plants grow as big as they can so everyone can enjoy their beauty once spring springs into action.

Day 2 – Woodland Creatures & Birdsong
With the sun making more appearances nowadays, you’re more likely to notice different birds chirping a tune or two. They’re always beautiful to hear but it does leave some creatures a bit left out that they’re not recognised for their musical talents. Take Henry here for example, they’ve been busting away teaching themselves the saxophone all winter and they can’t wait to play with the big birds. So next time you’re on a walk through the park, keep an ear out and make sure you’ve got some nuts to give out in case you hear Henry. I mean you gotta pay the talent, can’t be heartless during the springtime.

Day 3 – Wandering Outdoors
Nowadays moving is such a chore, there is just too much stress attached to it and nobody loves being buried under mountains of boxes and packing peanuts. Sadly we’ve moved on from the days of yore, where we could enchant the land to sprout legs and wander the plains to find a new spot for our homes to settle in. I feel like these just need to come back but for more than just moving from place to place. I see great potential in road-tripping across the country with nothing but my home, my land and the wind blowing through my hair as it sprints at full speed down the motorway. That would be something else.

Day 4 – Spring Soiree
Parties have never really been my thing so I always tend to avoid them to try and bypass the strain it’ll inevitably take on me. Although even if you try to avoid the big ones, you also tend to not see the little ones. Now that spring is beginning to fully blossom, I’m sure all types of parties, that are so small we could barely see them, are going to be happening all the time. I can blame all the dancing from these fae for the spikes in hay fever that we are sure to see, I mean pollen does get everywhere and I know those Pollinators love to bust a move.

Day 5 – “Where flowers bloom, so does hope” – Lady Bird Johnson
Be sure to keep those bouquets big and beautiful when you buy flowers this season, cause lacklustre vases can lead to terrible accidents. This poor ladybird took a second to smell the roses but found themselves stuck in the vase. Thankfully these were fake flowers and there wasn’t any water to cause further terror but this gave the ladybird a bit more hope and joy, as they could just sit back and look at flowers. What a lovely for them indeed.
