After completing my “Collections” Project, I was tasked with with the opportunity to take one of my Steve’s outside of the studio and out into the open world for a week. This challenge was inspired by Ingrid Murphy’s Ceramic Dog Project where one of the dogs travels around while the exhibit is active. During this week, I incorporated the Steve known as “Baby Steve” into my everyday life and allowed them to explore different places and try different things. This challenge was fun to complete and was interesting caring and carrying around something small and fragile wherever I went.
